SHIPPING POLICIES

ORDERS MUST BE PLACED BEFORE 12 EASTERN TIME FOR SAME DAY FULFILMENT (UPS AND USPS)

TITLE TRANSFER
All sales are F.O.B. (Freight on Board) factory and title to the shipment passes to you once your shipment is loaded on the truck at the factory. We are not liable thereafter for any loss of the shipment, or damage to, or caused by the shipment after it is loaded on the truck at the factory. Any claims for loss after the shipment is loaded at the factory will need to be filed by the customer directly with the freight company.

LIABILITY
TRASSIG CORP shall not be liable for incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages. In no event will TRASSIG CORP be liable for damages beyond the invoiced price.

WARRANTY
TRASSIG CORP does not express or imply any warranty. All items are warranted by the manufacturer. Each manufacturer offers different warranties for different products. Please contact us for details about specific products. TRASSIG CORP expressly disclaims liability for any injury, loss, or damage arising from the use or inability to use an item sold by us. Our only obligation is to replace an item that is delivered defective and this obligation is limited.

RETURNS
Most of our products are made to order to customer’s design and/or color specifications. No returns will be accepted for these custom items. Returns will be accepted for only a very limited selection of items which are considered stock items and only with prior authorization from TRASSIG CORP within 30 days of delivery acceptance. Customer is responsible for original freight charges and return freight charges. All returns are subject to a 30% restocking fee. No returns will be accepted for products once they have been installed.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
Clients from Canada might be levied local taxes and tariffs that need to be paid to their local governments before goods are released. These tariffs are not included in any shipping calculations and TRASSIG CORP is not responsible for them.

CANCELLATION
All orders are subject to a 30% cancellation fee. This fee will apply if you cancel your order or change your color choice after your order is placed. No cancellations are allowed on orders that have shipped.

JURISDICTION
All disputes shall be governed by the laws of Connecticut and shall be heard in Connecticut.

CHANGES SPECIFICATIONS/PRICING
All photos/specs/pricing are accurate at the time of printing. However, due to changing market conditions and continual improvement in designs, we reserve the right to change designs, specifications, and pricing without notice.

FREIGHT SHIPPING

  1. General Shipping Policy Information
    • The carrier will contact you within 24 hours of freight delivery.
    • Failure to report any and all damage, and missing parts to TRASSIG CORP will result in your freight claim being denied, and loss of your ability to receive replacement parts at no additional cost.
    • If you find a concealed damage problem all original packaging must be kept for inspection by the Freight Carrier.
    • TRASSIG CORP reserves the right to select the most cost-effective method of transportation and carrier for shipping the products and charge the customer for freight in addition to the cost of products.
  2. Customer Responsibilities
    • Unload the order and store it properly unless prior agreement exists.
    • Count the contents of the order, compare it to the freight line & bill of lading before signing receipt.
    • Inspect the delivery for any obvious signs of damage and for signs of potential concealed damage.
    • Mark any damage found, including damage to packaging that may result in concealed damage, on the delivery receipt before the driver departs.
    • Report any damage or missing parts to us within 48 hours of receipt of delivery.
    • Cover any additional fees stemming from delivery delay at customer fault.
    • Any fees TRASSIG CORP is charged with for unloading of freight, such as limited access, redelivery fees, or liftgate surcharges, will be billed to the customer.
  3. Damaged Shipments
    Occasionally, shipments will get damaged during transit. All merchandise must be inspected prior to signing acceptance from the carrier. If any damage is found, IT MUST BE NOTED ON THE DELIVERY RECEIPT. We cannot file a claim with the freight carrier if it is not noted and in such case, we cannot be responsible for any damage not noted on the delivery receipt. If you cannot inspect the merchandise, please note on the delivery receipt any damage noticed on the packaging itself. Any missing or damaged goods must be reported within 10 days of receiving the item, accompanied by clear and obvious images of the damage.
  4. Missing Parts
    All missing parts must be reported to us within 10 days of your receipt of your order. We will not replace any parts that are not reported within that 10 day period.
  5. Responsibility
    For freight shipments, TRASSIG CORP does not hold any responsibility once the shipment is signed for by the customer or their representative.

RETURNED TO TRASSIG
If a shipment is returned to TRASSIG due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, failure to pick up the shipment, or any other reason attributable to the customer, the customer will be responsible for all return shipping costs and any additional fees incurred.

FORCE MAJEURE
TRASSIG CORP shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations under these terms and conditions if such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, government action, natural disasters, or labor disputes.

INSPECTION PERIOD
Customers are required to inspect all deliveries for completeness and damage within 10 days of receipt. Any discrepancies, damages, or defects must be reported within this period. Failure to inspect and report within the specified timeframe will result in the waiver of any claims against TRASSIG CORP for such discrepancies, damages, or defects.
