Overview

This course ensures that you and your team understand the most important aspects of playground safety codes—helping maintain compliance and, most importantly, protecting the children who use your playgrounds.

We take the complexities of CPSC, ASTM, and ADA standards and break them down into clear, actionable lessons that make sense for those involved in the day-to-day maintenance, planning, and safety management of public playgrounds.

This training is ideal for:

What You’ll Learn

The course provides a practical breakdown of key playground safety topics, including:

  • Risk management

  • Injury statistics and prevention trends

  • Fall height and critical fall height requirements

  • Use zones and proper spacing

  • Entanglements

  • Head and neck entrapments

  • Crush and shear hazards

  • Protrusions

  • Suspended hazards

  • Tripping hazards

By the end of the class, participants will have a clear understanding of the main compliance issues and how to identify and correct them in everyday playground maintenance and inspection practices.
