Redoing running tracks these days can cost upwards of 300 k. So, repairing a them successfully is a good incentive for most operators and owners. Generally what plagues running tracks are small and large cracks as well as the loss of wear layer due to constant abuse from cleats as well as the weather.
In most cases, running tracks can be repaired using our running track repair kits as well as our Running track Rebinder. the kits will fill the cracks and holes and the rebinder will keep the granules together. In some cases, no prep work is necessary. Just prime and then apply the mix on the damaged area. In other cases, some prep is necessary, such as enlarging areas, and cutting loose ends. The entire running track will have to be put out of service for a couple days. The following picture actually show the process of repairing and rebinding an actual track. The whole process took 5 days because of the extent of the damage involved. But the owners should get at least another 5 years of use of this track.
